Terms of Service
Agreement
By paying for or using Wooly Web Co. services, you agree to these Terms. “We” means Wooly Web Co. / Jeremy Messer. “You” means the client business.
Services
We provide subscription website design and maintenance. The Core package typically includes: a custom-coded site hosted on Cloudflare with SSL, pages for your services and service areas/towns, on-page SEO, 2 small content edits per month, and weekly Google Business Profile posts (4/month). Exact deliverables follow the plan you buy. Founding rates are described on the pricing page and apply only as stated there.
Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate business information, logo, photos, and copy on time.
- Provide domain access when needed; buy and own your domain (or authorize us to buy it in your name).
- Review and approve the preview in a reasonable time. The site does not go live without your approval.
- Ensure content you supply does not infringe others’ rights; use the services lawfully.
- For GBP posts: add Jeremy as Manager while you remain Owner.
Timelines & revisions
Build timing depends on how quickly you send materials and feedback. The initial build includes one revision pass on the preview. Bigger changes or new features may need an extra quote. Nothing launches without written or preview approval.
Payments
Fees are in USD. When charged, the design fee is due at signup. The monthly subscription starts when the site goes live and auto-renews until cancelled. Taxes may apply. Failed payments may be retried; continued failure may pause hosting. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers or CVV. Online checkout is being set up — until then, payment is arranged after you request a quote.
Cancellation
In general, you may cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; the site stays live until then, then hosting ends.
Founding / waived design fee: if your design fee is waived (including the Founding $149/mo rate), you agree to a 6-month commitment from when monthly billing starts. After that commitment ends, you may cancel anytime as above. Plans that pay the design fee do not have this 6-month founding commitment.
To cancel, use the contact / quote form on this site (include your name, business name, and account email). See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for refunds and the early money-back window.
Within about 30 days after cancel, on request, we provide the website’s page code, content, and images within about 10 business days, as-is, for you to host elsewhere. Forms, analytics, and hosted integrations stop. We do not set up your new host. The export does not include our internal tools, frameworks, libraries, template system, or third-party assets licensed only to us. If we hold a domain for you, we unlock and provide the transfer code when you leave (new domains may have a registrar lock).
Ownership
- Your content: you keep logos, photos, and copy; you license them to us only to build and run your site.
- While subscribed: we host and maintain the site.
- Our tools & templates: we keep ownership of the build system, templates, and libraries.
- Stock assets: remain under their own licenses.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee Google rankings, traffic, leads, sales, or uninterrupted / error-free operation. We provide best-effort service and will work with you on issues.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior three months, and we are not liable for consequential damages. A lawyer must review and finalize this section.
Accessibility
We use modern accessibility practices where feasible. We do not guarantee ADA or WCAG compliance. You remain responsible for legal compliance for your business.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page (and emailed when we have a working notice channel). Continued use after changes means acceptance.
